Hello everybody…
my name is Kate and I am a part of the wonderful world of SharePoint since 2008. At that time I attended a half year program called SharePoint Academy given by The Triple A Company…
…and since I’m hooked. I stayed at Triple A to work as a SharePoint Consultant and since 2010 additionally as the trainer of the SharePoint Academy Program.
Due to my background in development, I did a lot of projects involving customizations with code in SharePoint and InfoPath.
Since July 2011 I’m now working full time at Portiva as a SharePoint Software Consultant. Here my tasks moved away from plain development towards functional and technical designing.
My Work at Portiva
As a SharePoint specialist I am completely committed towards the SharePoint Platform. I have a technical background that allows me insight into the technical functional side of SharePoint as well as the development side. One of my specialties is the integration of MS InfoPath in the SharePoint context and the construction of Workflows (especially with Nintex).
I have been developing with the Microsoft .NET platform for years and especially in the role of a SharePoint Developer.
Next to realizing SharePoint Solutions, I am also experienced in the creation and realization of SharePoint trainings for IT-Persona, Power Users and End-Users. Since 2012 I have been given the status of a Microsoft Certified Trainer. This allows me to give courses from the Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC).
My knowledge in the technical and functional possibilities of SharePoint combined with my experience with trainings allows me to also act as a Consultant and sparring partner for customers and end-users. This can be during the requirements gathering (functional design) as well as for the construction of solutions (technical design).
